Discovered these when I was working around my acute biceps tear and couldn\u2019t directly stress the biceps. Due to the pronated forearm position it shifts some of the load to the brachialis. The key though is to isolate the motion to the elbow joint and not to involve the shoulder (to keep the chest out). All the specifics aside, you just need to try them at least once.
