Support for Joe Biden has dipped since his first presidential debate against Donald Trump, a new poll has suggested.<\/p>\n

The CBS News\/YouGov poll indicated that 72% of registered voters believe the current US president does not have the mental and cognitive health to serve as president. Nearly half said he should step aside.<\/p>\n

However, the poll also showed that over half of registered democrats still believe Biden should be the party\u2019s nominee.<\/p>\n

The message from his campaign team and his family is that he remains the party’s best hope to defeat Trump.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court is expected to rule on whether Donald Trump has immunity from the most serious criminal charges against him. <\/p>\n

It will be the first time the high court weighs in on whether a president can be criminally prosecuted for actions he took while in office.<\/p>\n
