A convicted ex-drug smuggler and former lawyer for the country\u2019s most notorious kingpin, Joaquin Guzman: El Chapo, is among the candidates in Mexico’s first judicial elections.
\nThe elections take place this Sunday and are the first time a nation’s entire judiciary will be decided by popular vote.
