The Commissioner-General for the UN’s Relief agency for Palestinians says the organisation’s financial situation is “dire” and that it may soon cease to operate.
\nPhilippe Lazzarini says the Israeli authorities have campaigned against UNRWA, including false accusations that it’s a terrorist organisation.
\nHe says their finances are now at a breaking point. <\/p>\n
Doctor James Smith is an emergency physician who spent several weeks volunteering on a medical mission to Gaza.
