New figures from Gaza\u2019s Health Ministry showing 11 people have starved to death in the territory in the past 24 hours reflect the realities in Gaza.<\/p>\n
Palestinians are unable to get food and are putting their lives at risk to try to feed their children.<\/p>\n
The latest to have died from hunger were siblings, aged 16 and 25, who died on the same day.<\/p>\n
We\u2019re losing Palestinians not just from air strikes, shelling and drones, but also from malnutrition and starvation.<\/p>\n
Why is this? Because food distribution points, upon which most Palestinians are reliant, are not operating. Hot meal kitchens where people get their daily meals are not operating any more.<\/p>\n
Palestinians are risking their lives going to aid hubs run by the notorious GHF, risking being shot because they want to feed their families. Whatever is coming into Gaza is not enough. Most of the trucks entering are commercial trucks and food is very expensive.<\/p>\n
The reality is devastating \u2013 Palestinians have no choice but to see their children die of malnutrition and starvation.<\/p>\n
