Sanae Takaichi is set to become Japan’s first female prime minister after being elected as the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party. She\u2019s now expected to become prime minister later this month. Takaichi will succeed Shigeru Ishiba, who is stepping down after less than a year on the job. <\/p>\n
