A military court in Pakistan has sentenced a former intelligence chief to 14 years in prison.
\nRetired Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed was found guilty on four charges, including violating the Official Secrets Act.
\nHe was arrested last year, after corruption allegations linked to a housing project.
\nHameed was appointed chief of the spy agency in 2019, when Imran Khan was the Prime Minister.
\nHameed is widely seen as an ally of Khan, who was removed from office in a no-confidence motion and is in jail on multiple charges. <\/p>\n
