Angola is one of Africa\u2019s biggest oil exporters, yet it relies heavily on food imports.
\nThe dependence has exposed the country to rising global food prices and shortages.
\nThe government says the oil-based economy is no longer sustainable.
\nAuthorities are now pushing to diversify economic growth beyond energy.
\nAgriculture and local food production are central to the new strategy.
\nOfficials hope increased investment will cut imports and create jobs.
\nThe plan aims to strengthen food security and reduce reliance on oil revenues.<\/p>\n
