Iran\u2019s Foreign Minister Araqchi says US President Donald Trump\u2019s warning against Tehran of military action if protests turned bloody motivated \u201cterrorists\u201d \u2060to target protesters and security forces to invite foreign intervention.
\nTrump has repeatedly threatened to intervene in Iran warning he has \u201cvery strong options\u201d as the US military studies the situation while his administration is in contact with Iranian opposition leaders.
\nIran\u2019s government declares three days of national mourning for the \u201cmartyrs\u201d killed in two weeks of protests, including members of security forces.
\nMore than 100 security personnel have been killed in recent days, state media report, while opposition activists say the death toll is higher and includes hundreds of protesters. Al Jazeera cannot independently verify either figure.<\/p>\n
