Saint Laurent\u2019s chief executive has said luxury groups must work harder to win back aspirational shoppers, as the French fashion house bets on menswear and China to revive growth for its struggling parent company Kering.<\/p>\n
\u2018The industry\u2019s growth has been extraordinary but not sustainable,\u2019 C\u00e9dric Charbit said at the FT\u2019s Business of Luxury summit in Puglia, Italy. \u2018We haven\u2019t been good enough at retaining clients, we should do better,\u2019 he added.<\/p>\n
