Subscribe now!<\/p>\n<p><input id=\"email\" maxlength=\"\" required=\"\" type=\"email\" name=\"email\" class=\"form__input\"\/><br \/>\n<button class=\"form__group__field__submit-button items-center button button--secondary\" style=\"color:#fff;background-color:#c50000;font-family:Cantarell,helvetica neue,sans-serif;border:0 solid #2962ff;border-radius:3px;padding:3px 23px\"> Subscribe<\/button><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/form>\n<\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/allhiphop.com\/tag\/sean-kingston\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sean Kingston<\/a> addressed his followers for the first time since he and his mother, Janice Turner, were convicted in a federal fraud case involving over $1 million in stolen goods and services.<\/p>\n<p>The Hip-Hop artist posted a short message to his Instagram Stories over the weekend, days after a Florida jury found the pair guilty of wire fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLately they\u2019ve been trying to break me on the daily,\u201d Kingston wrote, seemingly quoting a new song he is working on, while adding broken heart emoji.<\/p>\n<p>The verdict came on Friday (March 28), <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/HmK2CTEkrH4\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">after just three hours of deliberation<\/a> following a five-day trial in which prosecutors accused the duo of orchestrating a scheme to obtain luxury items\u2014including high-end jewelry and a Cadillac Escalade\u2014through fake wire transfers and forged documents.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><d class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"><d class=\"jetpack-video-wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Sean Kingston, mother convicted in Fort Lauderdale federal wire fraud trial\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HmK2CTEkrH4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/d><\/d><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p>Kingston, 34, was not taken into custody immediately after the verdict. He remains under house arrest with electronic monitoring. According to court records, his bail terms include a $200,000 cash bond and a $500,000 property bond.<\/p>\n<p>Turner, 62, was detained on the spot.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecutors argued she posed a flight risk due to her criminal history and called her the \u201cfixer and mastermind\u201d behind the operation. Both were labeled \u201cmasters of deception\u201d by the government during closing arguments.<\/p>\n<p>Each of the five counts\u2014one for conspiracy and four for wire fraud\u2014carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
