When she’s not writing, she’s playing with her dogs, Lola and Ruger<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n Country singer Miranda Lambert married former NYPD officer Brendan McLoughlin in 2019 after knowing him for just a few months. They\u2019re still learning about each other and went through some ups and downs in the last few years. She opened up about the unique way they bond.<\/p>\n 2025 marks twenty years since Miranda Lambert released her debut album, Kerosene<\/em>. The album was released in 2005, two years after she was on\u00a0Nashville Star<\/em>. She came in fourth place but caught the attention of a record label at Sony Nashville.<\/p>\n Miranda Lambert became an overnight sensation with the release of her first album. She stayed with the Sony label throughout her career before leaving in early 2023. She signed with Republic Records in April 2024 and released the album Postcards From Texas<\/em> later that year.<\/p>\n Miranda Lambert recently chatted with Country Living<\/em><\/a> about the span of her career so far.<\/p>\n \u201cI write and sing about what I know; what I have experienced, or what someone I know or someone I heard about is going through. Those stories reflect what most of my fans are dealing with, as well, so it covers all the emotions,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Miranda Lambert is a songwriter as well as a singer. \u201cAs an artist, I want to be open to keep exploring and releasing music that\u2019s maybe unexpected\u2014it\u2019s an important part of my growth and responsibility,\u201d she said about her future albums.<\/p>\n Miranda Lambert has been touring with Morgan Wallen<\/a> this summer. She opened up to\u00a0Country Living<\/em> about the new hobby she took up to pass the time and bond with her husband<\/a>, Brendan McLoughlin.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve been learning to play golf this year,\u201d she shares. \u201cMy husband loves golf, and it\u2019s been a really fun way for us to spend time together. This summer is pretty busy with touring, so we\u2019ve found time to escape in between shows and go to different courses in the cities we\u2019re in. It\u2019s been a nice way to carve out time together when life is on the go,\u201d she revealed.<\/p>\n The couple faced a scandal last summer when her husband was caught cozying up to another woman<\/a> in Miranda Lambert\u2019s Nashville bar. The other woman spoke out and said it was a friendly interaction, but rumors continue to follow the couple.<\/p>\n As for what\u2019s next in her career, Miranda Lambert is always writing new songs. \u201cSometimes, I\u2019m just living my life, so that I have something to write about when I come back to the music. I\u2019ve been writing with some friends in Nashville, too.
