The Canadian hardcore experimentalists have announced <em>Grass Can Move Stones<\/em> \u2014 a ten-part, three-album finale that will bring their 20-year journey full circle.<\/p>\n<p>Set in motion with <em>Year Of The Goat<\/em> (out December 12 on Tankcrimes), the finale also encompasses <em>Year Of The Monkey<\/em> and <em>Year Of The Rooster<\/em>, forming one interconnected story told across almost five hours of music. The three releases will revisit and recontextualize themes, characters, and sounds from all nine previous <em>Zodiac<\/em> entries, pulling threads from the band&#8217;s past into a single, ambitious narrative.<\/p>\n<p>The ten sides of <em>Grass Can Move Stones<\/em> will be rolled out over the course of a year:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Year Of The Goat<\/em> this Fall (single LP)<\/li>\n<li><em>Year Of The Monkey<\/em> in Spring 2026 (double LP)<\/li>\n<li><em>Year Of The Rooster<\/em> in Autumn 2026 (double LP), landing in tandem with the 20th anniversary of the very first <em>Zodiac<\/em> installment, <em>Year Of The Dog<\/em> (October 2006).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each entry will debut on the band&#8217;s Bandcamp, with vinyl pre-orders available via Tankcrimes \u2014 the long-running home of the <em>Zodiac<\/em> series. <a href=\"https:\/\/fuckedup.bandcamp.com\/\">Pre-orders are available here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, <strong>Fucked Up<\/strong> said: &#8220;We are excited to announce <em>Grass Can Move Stones<\/em>, the ten part finale to our twenty-year <em>Zodiac<\/em> album cycle. Join us over the next year as we release the <em>Year Of The Goat<\/em> LP, the <em>Year Of The Monkey<\/em> 2xLP, and the <em>Year Of The Rooster<\/em> 2xLP in installments, one story spread over almost five hours of music, that dives back into the characters, narratives, and music from all our previous zodiac records, told by dozens of characters and special guests.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Sides will be released (almost) monthly on Bandcamp, leading up to the finale side in October 2026, the twenty-year anniversary of the first zodiac album, <em>Year Of The Dog<\/em>.
