Lainey Wilson\u2019s rise to fame accelerated quickly. She spent years trying to make it as a songwriter in Nashville, Tennessee. A breakout role on\u00a0Yellowstone<\/em> and her hit song \u201cThings a Man Oughta Know\u201d were the right recipe for success.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s been a rising star in country music<\/a> since, and her star doesn\u2019t seem to be fading any time soon. She just landed a huge solo gig that used to belong to Luke Bryan.<\/p>\n

Luke Bryan has hosted the CMA Awards for years. Sometimes he has co-hosts, like NFL great Payton Manning. Lainey Wilson joined them to co-host the awards last year.<\/p>\n

It was recently announced that she\u2019ll be hosting the 2025 CMAs solo. \u201cI grew up watching the CMA Awards like it was the Super Bowl, so to be hosting for a second year is a true honor,\u201d she said about<\/a> the gig.<\/p>\n

Lainey Wilson already has nine CMA Awards after just a few years in the industry. She also has several Grammys.<\/p>\n

\u201cWatermelon Moonshine\u201d Singer Receives Rare Praise From Miranda Lambert<\/h3>\n

Very few in the music industry know about hustling<\/a> like Lainey Wilson. Miranda Lambert is one of them. She turned a third-place win on\u00a0Nashville Star<\/em> into a career that has lasted over two decades.<\/p>\n

The \u201cGunpowder & Lead\u201d singer spent the summer opening for Morgan Wallen, even though she could sell out arenas<\/a> on her own.<\/p>\n

Lainey Wilson was recently named to TIME<\/em>\u2018s list<\/a> of \u201cThe World\u2019s Most Influential Rising Stars.\u201d Miranda Lambert wrote a tribute to Lainey for the magazine.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m a huge fan of Lainey Wilson. I heard just a few songs and instantly loved what she is doing. She is such a light. She\u2019s funny and she\u2019s fun, and she has a spirit about her that brings joy to any room she walks in.\u201d<\/p>\n

The tribute continued, \u201cWhat she does doesn\u2019t define her. Who she is defines her, and that\u2019s real authenticity. She lives and breathes songs, and you can see that passion in her eyes; it\u2019s all about the music for her, and she lets the music lead. She\u2019s a legend already\u2014having taken home her first Grammy last year for Bell Bottom Country\u2014and I\u2019m thankful she\u2019s a country artist. I\u2019m really proud of how she represents the lifestyle we both love and the music we both love.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s out of the gate going 100 miles an hour,\u201d Miranda Lambert concluded the rare praise.<\/p>\n
