Subscribe now!<\/p>\n<p><input id=\"email\" maxlength=\"\" required=\"\" type=\"email\" name=\"email\" class=\"form__input\"\/><br \/>\n<button class=\"form__group__field__submit-button items-center button button--secondary\" style=\"color:#fff;background-color:#c50000;font-family:Cantarell,helvetica neue,sans-serif;border:0 solid #2962ff;border-radius:3px;padding:3px 23px\"> Subscribe<\/button><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/form>\n<\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/allhiphop.com\/tag\/lil-baby\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lil Baby<\/a> is being linked to a gang-related feud that led to the deaths of two teens, who were killed the day after a shooting at his video shoot last year.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>During a press conference on Wednesday (February 16), Atlanta Police announced the arrests of seven individuals in connection with the fatal shootings of 13-year-olds Jakody Davis and Lamon Freeman.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Authorities claimed the boys\u2019 deaths stemmed from a gang war ignited by a shooting at Lil Baby\u2019s May 2024 <a href=\"https:\/\/allhiphop.com\/news\/three-men-shot-near-set-of-lil-baby-video-shoot-in-atlanta\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">music video shoot<\/a>, which allegedly sparked a series of retaliatory shootings and homicides.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The teens were ambushed while celebrating Freeman\u2019s birthday in July 2024, a killing police allege was a direct result of the ongoing conflict. An unnamed 11-year-old was also reportedly shot at the party.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Major Ralph Woolfolk called Lil Baby\u2019s actions \u201ccowardly,\u201d stating he went into a rival gang stronghold where he knew he shouldn\u2019t have been.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLamont Friedman was allowed to be a 13-year-old for 27 minutes before gang violence ultimately took his life. Gang violence that was orchestrated by adults,\u201d Woolfolk stated.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He continued, \u201cCowardly acts of an Atlanta-based rapper that decided to go over into a rival gang stronghold and shoot a music video in a place that he knew he should not have been. In the subsequent days, we saw homicides and shootings and ultimately, the deaths of two children as a result of his cowardly actions.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Arrests made in 2 teens deaths | Police link Atlanta rapper&#039;s video shoot to shooting\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/BMQgC8_O6qk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-atlanta-pd-working-relentlessly-to-hold-lil-baby-accountable-for-shooting\">Atlanta PD Working \u201cRelentlessly\u201d To Hold Lil Baby Accountable For Shooting<\/h2>\n<p>Investigators said a high-ranking member of the gang opposing Lil Baby\u2019s gang called in a hit on the teens from inside a Georgia prison, per <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsbtv.com\/news\/local\/atlanta\/police-say-atlanta-rappers-cowardly-actions-led-innocent-teens-birthday-party-murders\/KHVEI4KQYBER5JAUNRCXYVBUHY\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">WSB-TV Atlanta<\/a><\/em>.
