Metal bands were on late night television shows, on red carpets, breaking records and boundaries they didn’t know were possible\u2026 but Jesus Christ<\/em>, with nearly 100 million listeners, they put in the work, listening to over 185 million hours of Metallica<\/strong>.<\/p>\n And let’s be real here, we all know the band’s most streamed songs \u2013 “Enter Sandman” is creeping up on 2 billion streams, and “Master Of Puppets” and “Nothing Else Matters” sit at a cool billion-odd streams each \u2013\u00a0and well, they maintained their position on Metallica<\/strong>‘s top played chart.<\/p>\n In a post to X, the band account<\/a> wrote:<\/p>\n “You guys continue to outdo yourselves every year! Over 21 THOUSAND YEARS worth of our music was streamed on<\/p>\n @Spotify<\/a> in 2025. Sincere thanks to the #MetallicaFamily<\/a>, who listened all year, joined us on the #M72<\/a> World Tour, & supported us from every corner of the globe.
