Since then, activity around the band has been minimal, with fans left wondering about its long-term future.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Magyar<\/strong> has clearly shifted his full creative focus to a new band called <strong>SIFYN<\/strong>, recently removing any reference to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/lukasmagyar\/\"><strong>Veil Of Maya<\/strong> from his Instagram bio<\/a>. He further confirmed his exit directly in the comments section of his social media.<\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theprp.com\/2025\/12\/29\/news\/vocalist-lukas-magyar-has-exited-veil-of-maya\/\">The PRP<\/a><\/em> noted that <strong>Magyar<\/strong> responded to a fan who asked &#8220;Does this mean we likely won&#8217;t be seeing <strong>VOM<\/strong> again?&#8221; saying: &#8220;If you do, it won&#8217;t be with me. I decided to part ways and focus on <strong>SIFYN<\/strong>.&#8221; <strong>Magyar<\/strong> later noted that he &#8220;had to step away and focus on other things&#8221; in response to another fan.<\/p>\n<p>At this time, there has been no official announcement regarding <strong>Veil Of Maya<\/strong>&#8216;s future lineup or whether the band will continue without <strong>Magyar<\/strong>. The only indication of possible activity came from <strong>Okubo<\/strong> in January 2025, when he posted: &#8220;When <strong>Veil<\/strong> comes back it will be the heavy version.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>At the time of their <a href=\"https:\/\/metalinjection.net\/news\/breakups\/veil-of-maya-cancels-all-live-shows-goes-on-hiatus\">hiatus in September 2024, <strong>Veil Of Maya<\/strong> stated<\/a>: &#8220;We have made the difficult decision to have <strong>Veil Of Maya<\/strong> go on hiatus and we will not be playing any of the upcoming festivals or tours. We apologize to our fans and appreciate everyone&#8217;s support over the years. This break is necessary for us to reassess our future, and we hope you understand. When the time feels right, we&#8217;ll update you on what&#8217;s next for <strong>Veil Of Maya<\/strong> we will be back.
