I know I\u2019m something of a serial offender when it comes to covering Nieri<\/a><\/strong> on the blog. Yet here I am waxing lyrical once again. This time, it\u2019s not only due to the release of a brand-new music video, \u201cSober<\/strong>\u201c. But also because the long-awaited debut album, \u201cArchitecture\u201d,<\/em><\/strong> which I\u2019ve been eagerly anticipating for months, is finally here.<\/p>\n Since unleashing \u201cPeople Pleaser,<\/a>\u201d<\/strong> the album\u2019s first teaser, earlier this year, Nieri has had me completely under his spell. The effortlessly intertwining heartfelt storytelling with infectious melodies and undeniable sonic allure. Subsequent releases have only strengthened that grip. The title track \u201cArchitecture<\/a>\u201d<\/strong> showcases a rush of rhythmic energy paired with soaring vocals, while \u201cFun!,\u201d \u201cBoys at the Gym<\/a>,\u201d<\/strong> and \u201cAndy Warhol<\/a>\u201d<\/strong> lean into a playful, provocative spirit that feels both knowing and fearless.<\/p>\n With that foundation laid, diving into the remaining six tracks felt genuinely exciting. The album continues to deliver plenty of dancefloor-ready moments, such as the irresistibly buoyant \u201cDo You Wanna?\u201d<\/strong>, while also making space for thoughtful introspection on \u201cICU,\u201d \u201cDisassociate,\u201d<\/strong> and \u201cAmerican Delusion.\u201d<\/strong> For good measure, Nieri also offers a cover of George Michael\u2019<\/strong>s liberating dance-pop classic \u201cOutside.\u201d<\/strong> It\u2019s tastefully executed, yet unmistakably stamped with Nieri\u2019s own authenticity.<\/p>\n
