Over the course of their brief run with Puciato they recorded 2023&#8217;s <em>God Made Me an Animal<\/em> EP followed by their 2024 debut album, <em>Highly Irresponsible<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h3>What Did Better Lovers Say About Their Split With Greg Puciato?<\/h3>\n<p>In a statement posted to their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/betterloversband\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\">Instagram account<\/a>, Better Lovers shared the following statement:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Better Lovers is parting ways with Greg Puciato.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re proud of the work we\u2019ve done together but we are moving in another direction.<\/p>\n<p>To all of our fans, thank you for riding with us these past few years. We\u2019ve accomplished so much in such a short time with your support and we\u2019re still beyond excited to continue down this road with you.<\/p>\n<p>The four of us are finishing writing a new album which we are extremely proud of and currently looking for a new singer.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for your understanding , we\u2019ll see you soon.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><em>UPDATE:<\/em> Shortly after Better Lovers announced the split, Puciato himself commented through his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/gregpuciato\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\">Instagram Stories<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing a screenshot of the Better Lovers statement, he commented, &#8220;No bad blood. Everyone&#8217;s cool. Don&#8217;t speculate. Love these people and love the band. Rooting for them all collectively and individually. Thanks to everyone for making the last few years special. In the last few years, he&#8217;s joined <a href=\"https:\/\/loudwire.com\/tags\/jerry-cantrell\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jerry Cantrell<\/a> during his solo touring.
