You\u2019re right,\u201d Mathew acknowledged after Gibson\u2019s reminder about Tina\u2019s contributions.<\/p>\n<p>Gibson attempted to smooth over the awkward exchange by suggesting it was \u201ca joint effort\u201d between the former couple.<\/p>\n<p>The host then stood up and said, \u201cWe\u2019ll stop now,\u201d before asking if he had said something wrong during their conversation.<\/p>\n<p>Mathew later told <a title=\"\u200c\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/03\/02\/entertainment\/mathew-knowles-stuns-pix-11-host-with-awkward-response-about-ex-wife-tinas-role-in-destinys-child\/\"><em>Page Six<\/em><\/a> that Gibson arrived 15 minutes late for their scheduled interview. He claimed the host asked multiple questions about Tina, even though the interview was supposed to focus on his Destiny\u2019s Child tribute concert tour.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow it starts is how it ends. It started on a bad note, and obviously ended on a bad note for him,\u201d Mathew explained about the interview\u2019s conclusion.<\/p>\n<p>The former manager said he politely ended the interview, shook Gibson\u2019s hand and took a photograph before leaving the studio.<\/p>\n<p>Mathew and Tina divorced in 2011 after 31 years of marriage, but continue to support each other\u2019s professional endeavors.
