The festival will then expand to North America for an additional two-day event.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We wanna do two days in Aston Villa and then come to America,&#8221; <strong>Sharon<\/strong> explained. &#8220;And we wanna hear from everyone where we should go in America. And also we&#8217;ve gotta find a lot of young, new talent, because that&#8217;s what <strong>Ozzy<\/strong> would want.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Unlike its classic traveling format, Ozzfest 2027 will not initially be a touring festival. <strong>Sharon<\/strong> noted that the team plans to gauge demand before potentially taking it on the road in 2028 and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;And then see how it does. And then if people want it, we&#8217;ll be there [in the] following years,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>Reflecting on what made Ozzfest stand apart from other festivals, <strong>Sharon<\/strong> emphasized its unique atmosphere: &#8220;It was more fun\u2026 There was never anybody jockeying for position or thought they were better than anyone else. It was a summer camp.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>She also hinted at possible future performers, saying she would love to &#8220;see <strong>Rob Halford<\/strong> there,&#8221; suggesting that <strong>Judas Priest<\/strong> could potentially be part of a future lineup.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sharon<\/strong> also discussed Ozzfest&#8217;s return during a February 6 appearance at MIDEM 2026 at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France. She recalled that the last Ozzfest event took place in 2018 at The Forum, shortly before <strong>Ozzy Osbourne<\/strong> became seriously ill.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There was no plans to stop it,&#8221; she said. &#8220;<strong>Ozzy<\/strong> and I would talk about it, and he&#8217;d say, &#8216;Do you think Ozzfest would work without me?&#8217; And I&#8217;m like, &#8216;Yeah, it&#8217;s a brand.
