Exhorder<\/a><\/strong> have announced that drummer Sasha Horn<\/strong> is stepping away from the band to “focus on his personal life.” Horn<\/strong>, who has been with the band for over eight years, contributed to two albums and countless tours before deciding to take a break from the “daily rock lifestyle.”<\/p>\n Exhorder<\/strong> confirmed the change earlier today, stating: “This decision does not impact our touring plans in any way, as we have been fortunate enough to secure the help of God Forbid<\/strong> legend Corey Pierce<\/strong>. Corey<\/strong> will join us on ‘The Tour Of Unsound Minds’ this coming month, so we are in good hands!” A permanent replacement for Horn<\/strong> has not yet been announced.<\/p>\n Horn<\/strong> himself shared a heartfelt message with fans: “After eight and a half years, two albums, and countless touring cycles, it is time for me to permanently step away from my position at Exhorder<\/strong>\u2026 All things have come to that split in the path. Best wishes to the guys moving forward. As for myself, I am in search of more time with family, continuing education, and a focus on my own personal creative endeavors\u2026 This is not a farewell, this is a time-out.”<\/p>\n Exhorder<\/strong> added: “As we have finally completed a two-year touring cycle of Defectum Omnium<\/em>, our canvas is clear and we are excited about following up with our fifth album’s writing process. The search for a permanent drummer is underway. All of our best to Sasha<\/strong> in his journey, and we thank him for the time, contributions, and sacrifices he made alongside us for all of these years.”<\/p>\n Fans can still catch Exhorder<\/strong> live on the eastern leg of The Tour Of Unsound Minds in 2026, now with Corey Pierce<\/strong> filling the drum seat. The tour kicks off on April 2 at 123 Pleasant Street in Morgantown, WV and wraps up on April 19 at The Venue in Cadillac, MI.
