She\u2019s spoken candidly about the tension between her artistry and the constraints of a major-label system, and \u201c<strong>Need for Speed<\/strong>\u201d doesn\u2019t shy away from that reality. Released independently via her own <strong>BunHead Records<\/strong>, the track pulses with a sense of reclaimed autonomy.
