Iron Maiden<\/a> delivered their first concert of 2026 with a rousing performance in Athens, Greece on Saturday night.<\/p>\n The show officially began the latest leg of the band\u2019s Run for Your Lives World Tour<\/a>, a trek which\u00a0started last year and celebrates the iconic group\u2019s 50th anniversary.<\/p>\n The majority of the set list remained identical to last year\u2019s leg, including opening song \u201cMurders in the Rue Morgue\u201d and beloved classics like \u201cKillers\u201d and \u201cThe Number of the Beast.\u201d However, five songs into the show, frontman Bruce Dickinson<\/a> paused to address the crowd.<\/p>\n \u201cWe couldn\u2019t think of a better place in Europe to start this tour,” the singer proclaimed, adding that the audience was \u201cabsolutely f\u2014ing awesome tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe know a few of you have seen some of this show before,\u201d he continued. \u201cWe thought we\u2019d just do a little bit of something different, just for this next song. Because it\u2019s a song that we have not played for many, many years. It marked the first time the tune had been performed in concert since 1988, when the band was out touring in support of the LP. A live rendition of the song was released as a single in \u201889 from the band\u2019s live video Maiden England<\/em>. More recently, the metal legends released a career-spanning photo book titled Iron Maiden: Infinite Dreams<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>— in hindsight, it was a clear hint that the song would return to their set list.<\/p>\n Fan shot footage of Iron Maiden\u2019s recent performance of \u201cInfinite Dreams\u201d can be found below, along with a full set list from the Athens concert.
