On Thursday (May 28), Kenneth Nixon<\/a> joined Loudwire Nights<\/em><\/a> to dive into Framing Hanley<\/a>‘s career and latest song, “The Reckoning<\/a>,” and he also had some big news to share about the band’s next album.<\/p>\n Listen to the full conversation in the player near the end of this article.<\/p>\n “I feel like we’re really just now firing on all cylinders,” Nixon admitted to Loudwire Nights<\/em>‘ Chuck Armstrong<\/a> about the two-decade journey Framing Hanley have been on.<\/p>\n “I think ‘The Reckoning’ is proof of that and this album that we’ve got coming up as well is even more. I’m very fortunate and it’s not lost on me to still have people out there 20 years later that give a damn about what we’re doing.”<\/p>\n Fortunately for the Loudwire Nights<\/em><\/a> audience, Nixon shared a bit more about the album he mentioned.<\/p>\n “We haven’t announced this anywhere yet, so I guess this is breaking news, but we will be dropping the album toward the end of the summer,” he revealed.<\/p>\n “The album will be called Peace In the Void<\/em>. [It’ll have] 11 tracks that’ll come out late summer.”<\/p>\n Nixon said fans can expect to be knocked back by the opening song, which he said provides a “very good summation” of the rest of the album.<\/p>\n “I’ve never been more proud to be a part of anything artistically,” he said.<\/p>\n “This album would not be what it is if not for this collection of guys. This is the first full-length album that the four of us have done…and a big part of it as well is Richie Wicander, the drummer from Fire From the Gods<\/a>.
