For me, the latest <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/eqmusicblog.com\/?s=troye+sivan\">Troye Sivan<\/a><\/strong> chapter feels very much like the latter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking back at the 2023 \u201c<strong>Something to Give Each Other\u201d<\/strong> campaign, I have to commend Troye on the enormous Easter egg he left us with in \u201c<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/eqmusicblog.com\/watch-one-of-your-girls-by-troye-sivan\/\">One of Your Girls<\/a><\/strong>\u201d. The collaboration with <strong>Ross Lynch<\/strong> saw Troye step into a hyper-feminine drag persona for the first time. Subsequently with <strong>Gordon von Steiner<\/strong>\u2019s striking visual transformation prompting plenty of public reaction. At the time, it felt like a dazzling exercise in shape-shifting energy. Fast-forward to August 2026, and that moment looks remarkably like some very clever foreshadowing indeed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now Troye ushers in a brand-new era with \u201c<strong>She\u2019s the Best<\/strong>\u201d, the title track from his fourth studio album, \u201c<strong>She\u2019s the Best\u201d,<\/strong> arriving October 9, 2026.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/music.apple.com\/gb\/album\/shes-the-best\/6799851049?i=6799851053&amp;itscg=30200&amp;itsct=music_box_badge&amp;ls=1&amp;app=music&amp;mttnsubad=6799851053\" style=\"display: inline-block;\"><br \/>\n    <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/toolbox.marketingtools.apple.com\/api\/v2\/badges\/listen-on-apple-music\/standard-white\/en-us\" alt=\"Listen on Apple Music\" style=\"width: 367px; height: 82px; vertical-align: middle; object-fit: contain;\"\/><br \/>\n    <\/a><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Troye Sivan - She\u2019s the Best (Official Music Video)\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/mFA1P8ZzoLw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And then comes the visual, and honestly, this is where Troye really has me leaning into the screen. Starring <strong>Nicole Kidman<\/strong> and <strong>Sasha Colby<\/strong>, the video feels like far more than a beautifully constructed pop promo. It is a celebration, an ode and a very heartfelt love letter to the women \u2014 particularly trans women \u2014 drag queens, feminine-presenting people and that wonderfully indefinable feminine spirit that has influenced Troye\u2019s life, artistry and sense of self. There is strength here, but also softness, and it is that balance that makes the whole thing so captivating. I have already filed this firmly under: <em>watch again immediately.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What I particularly love is the serene tenderness running through both the song and the visual. For all its shape-shifting glamour and alt-pop intrigue, Troye never feels like he is simply playing with femininity as an aesthetic. There is something much more authentic happening beneath the surface. It feels lived-in, embraced and celebrated \u2014 almost as though those clues he scattered back in the \u201c<strong>Something to Give Each Other\u201d<\/strong> era have finally arrived at their destination. And suddenly, that \u201c<strong>One Of Your Girls<\/strong>\u201d Easter egg feels less like a brilliant one-off moment and more like Troye quietly telling us, <em>oh, you thought that was the story?
