Get it first, straight from AllHipHop.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Broward Sheriff\u2019s deputy spotted Kodak\u2019s pink Jeep Grand Cherokee parked on Northwest 18th Avenue and MLK Jr. Boulevard, and instead of running a proper traffic stop, the deputy just pulled up and said \u201cwhat\u2019s going on boss? You good?\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kodak answered \u201cfine\u201d and kept it moving. The defense team argued that the deputy never requested his license, never asked for insurance, never even stepped out of his patrol vehicle to engage properly, and definitely never gave any kind of lawful order that actually meant something.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The motion to dismiss stated it clearly: there were no lights, no sirens, no real attempt at a legitimate stop.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Rapper Kodak Black bonds out of Broward jail\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Yrzfp6BQKjA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The prosecutor tried to argue that Kodak was ordered not to leave the scene and defied that order, but the judge wasn\u2019t buying it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Defense attorney Bradford Cohen pointed out the obvious holes in the case, and the judge agreed there wasn\u2019t enough there to hold up.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is part of a larger pattern for Kodak, who\u2019s been cycling through the system for years on various charges.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He\u2019s got a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allhiphop.com\/tag\/kodak-black\/\">pending drug possession case out of Orange County<\/a> where he pleaded not guilty and remains out of custody.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Back in 2023, he caught a cocaine possession charge in Broward that got dismissed, and in July 2022, he was arrested with 31 oxycodone tablets and nearly $75,000 in cash during a traffic stop.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last week, body cam footage from a separate May 2026 arrest in Orange County surfaced online showing Kodak calmly finishing his meal while deputies waited nearby before taking him into custody.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The footage went viral, but it\u2019s from a completely different arrest than the one just dismissed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kodak\u2019s legal team, which includes attorneys David Bigney and Bradford Cohen, continues to fight his cases aggressively.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Pompano Beach native\u2019s latest win in court shows that sometimes the system actually listens when the facts don\u2019t add up.<\/p>\n<p><h3 class=\"jp-relatedposts-headline\"><em>Related<\/em><\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/allhiphop.com\/news\/judge-dismisses-fleeing-case-against-kodak-black-over-questionable-evidence\/\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kodak Black\u2019s latest legal win comes after a Broward judge tosses his fleeing charge over an improper traffic stop.
