Guns N’ Roses<\/a>\u00a0have been added to the lineup for the\u00a0“California, Dream On: Aerosmith & Friends”<\/a>\u00a0Aerosmith<\/a> comeback concerts.<\/span><\/p>\n

The shows, which mark Aerosmith’s first concerts since September 2023, will take place on Oct. 29 and Nov. 1 at the Hollywood Bowl.<\/p>\n

Guns N’ Roses guitarist\u00a0Slash<\/a>\u00a0and bassist\u00a0Duff McKagan<\/a>\u00a0were previously announced as special guests at the star-packed show.<\/p>\n

A promotional photo for the upcoming concerts features original Aerosmith members\u00a0Steven Tyler<\/a>,\u00a0Joe Perry<\/a>,\u00a0Brad Whitford<\/a>,\u00a0Tom Hamilton,<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Joey Kramer,<\/a>\u00a0who did not participate in the band’s most recent tour.<\/span><\/p>\n

The news of the concerts arrives as Tyler’s sexual assault case<\/a> heads to court.<\/p>\n

A press release notes that “additional legendary artists, special guests and surprise appearances will be announced” for the concerts. Artist pre-sale starts Friday at 1PM ET with general on-sale Saturday at 1PM ET.<\/p>\n

It also says that the “lineup\u00a0will vary by night. Final nightly lineups will be announced at or near showtime and are subject to change.”<\/p>\n

Who Is Playing at Aerosmith’s Comeback Concerts?<\/h3>\n

In addition to Aerosmith and Guns N’ Roses performances at the Hollywood Bowl shows, Kenny Aronoff<\/a>,\u00a0the Black Crowes<\/a>, Jerry Cantrell<\/a>,\u00a0Sammy Hagar<\/a>,\u00a0Heart<\/a>,\u00a0Billy Idol<\/a>,\u00a0Tom Morello<\/a>,\u00a0Run-D.M.C.<\/a>, Chad Smith<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Steve Stevens<\/a>\u00a0are scheduled to appear at “California, Dream On: Aerosmith & Friends.”<\/p>\n

Nuno Bettencourt, Eric Church, Sully Erna, Audley Freed, Mike Inez, Marcus King, Pat Monahan, Adam Wakeman and Andrew Watt have also been announced.<\/p>\n

Don Was<\/a>\u00a0will serve as music director for the shows, marking Aerosmith’s first performances since the aborted\u00a0Peace Out farewell tour<\/a>\u00a0three years ago.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following news of Tyler’s “sustained vocal cord damage<\/a>,”\u00a0the band announced its\u00a0retirement<\/a>, although the singer joined Perry’s solo group onstage<\/a> at the Hollywood Bowl in September 2025.<\/p>\n

Guns N’ Roses recently completed a North American tour and will head out to Asia, Australia and New Zealand for a run of dates in November and December.<\/p>\n
