Despite being a shooting, cowboy boot-wearing down-home girl, Miranda Lambert has a very good heart. She took Ella Langley under her wing when they were working together, and the two women have some fun stories to share. They gathered with Reba McEntire to have a ladies\u2019 powwow<\/a>, and country fans immediately wanted more from the trio. As for Miranda and her family, she is incredibly close to her parents as well as her brother, Luke. It is great to see this bond, especially with their upbringing.<\/p>\n

Both of her parents were private investigators, and Bev and Rick Lambert had been friends with Cathy Mahone. Cathy was married to a man named Ali Bayan, but they divorced yet shared custody. He was supposed to take their daughter, Lauren, out for Halloween in 1987, but instead, he kidnapped her. Moreover, Ali took Lauren to Jordan, but Cathy had Miranda\u2019s parents there to help<\/a> her along the way. Finally, they got Lauren back, and, as a teenager, Bev Lambert encouraged her to come live with the Lamberts. She shared a room with Miranda, and they formed a very special bond:<\/p>\n

Additionally, Lauren was able to share Miranda Lambert\u2019s father, Rick, with him, \u201cbeing the dad she needed \u2026 He actually walked me across the football field when I was homecoming football sweetheart because he was like a dad to me.\u201d
