Justin Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, chats with ET’s Kevin Frazier about Blake Lively’s last-ditch attempt to get a payout from her ‘It Ends With Us’ rival. Days after their settlement was revealed, Blake and her legal team filed paperwork to seek legal fees and other damages from Baldoni and his associates related to their $400 million defamation lawsuit against her, which was dismissed by a federal judge last year. A court will ultimately decide what, if any, damages Blake should receive. Both sides have waived their right to appeal the decision. Justin’s lawyer calls the litigation ‘nonsense.’ He also says he’s seen ‘pretty shocking’ evidence in this years-long case that has yet to come to light. Bryan says no NDAs were signed as part of the settlement.
