Thousands of Yemenis have been forced from their homes as fighting intensifies, with displaced families seeking refuge in makeshift camps between Taiz and Aden. Camps in and around Taiz are struggling to accommodate the growing number of people fleeing the violence, many of whom have arrived with few belongings and limited access to food, water and basic services.
Nearly 198,000 people had been officially registered as displaced by the start of October, with more than 97,000 being housed in Taiz province.
