A routine delivery turns into a major recovery operation when a 26-tonne flatbed truck becomes hopelessly stuck in a muddy public park. New recruit Steven Hodges faces one of his toughest challenges yet, using a 60-ton recovery truck and a 60-metre winch line to pull the stranded lorry to safety while keeping members of the public out of harm’s way. Elsewhere, recovery operators battle traffic, broken-down lorries, and dangerous roadside conditions as they race against time to keep Britain’s roads moving.
