Throwing out the first pitch for the Rockies for STEM Day!

Huge thanks once again to the Colorado Rockies for inviting me to throw out the first pitch for the game against the San Diego Padres, which followed our big STEM Day celebration.

Over 15,000 students, teachers, parents and science enthusiasts joined us for our STEM Day presentation on the field before the start of the game. This was my 10th time being invited by the Rockies to throw out the first pitch for an MLB game at Coors Field (could be some sort of record for a science guy to throw out the first pitch, right?)

Thank you to the Colorado Rockies for turning a ballpark into the biggest classroom in the state. And to the parents and educators who moved heaven and earth to get their kids there. These are the days we hope our kids end up talking about at the dinner table.
