Watch “YDH” by Chloe Qisha

With two EPs, “Modern Romance” and her self-titled debut, under her belt, alt-pop riser Chloe Qisha is wasting no time ushering in a bold new era. She gears up for her first-ever US and Canadian tour in March/April 2026. With dates across New York, Montréal, Toronto, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, Chloe is subsequently once again proving that timing is everything. Much like “So Sad So Hot” soundtracked the UK and EU tour run in October 2025. This next chapter arrives perfectly aligned with her expanding global footprint.

Although love and romance remain central themes in her latest material, Chloe’s gift lies in her sharply observational lyricism. She doesn’t just write about relationships; she dissects them with wit, nuance, and a touch of theatrical flair. It’s her speciality and her strength. On new single “YDH” (short for “Young, Dumb and Horny”), Chloe leans into a sound that feels deliciously sardonic and a little unhinged, evoking shades of MARINA in its dramatic, tongue-in-cheek delivery.

Speaking about the track, Chloe shared:

YDH” was written in one joy-filled, jet-lagged day. It was the perfect reset for a very stressful year – and it reminded me that this next project is about chasing fun. The song taps into that feral, fairy-tale kind of attraction — the all-consuming crush that makes you reckless, invested, and a little dramatic. It’s one of the fantasies I’ll be dipping into for this next project”

That fantasy takes vivid shape in the Iris Luz-directed video, where Chloe plays a medieval princess on a quest for her knight in shining armour. It’s camp, it’s romantic, and it’s knowingly over-the-top. In the wake of Chappell Roan’s 2024 breakout, theatrical costumery and heightened storytelling have surged within pop’s emerging circles. Artists like Haute & Freddy are leaning all the way in, and Chloe’s embrace of character-driven visuals places her firmly in that conversation.

Ultimately, “YDH” feels like a manifesto for this new era: carefree yet clever, playful yet precise. Chloe Qisha’s past releases marked her as one to watch. This fearless commitment to fantasy and fun suggests she’s not just chasing the moment… she’s shaping it.
