This has been quite an up-and-down year for Morgan Wallen. He had fans talking when he flipped a piano in May 2026 during a show, but then appeared completely unapologetic. Morgan Wallen Gets Twisted
It is known that Morgan Wallen is not a good old boy, but his music is insanely popular. Fans flock to his shows, and they want anything and everything they can that has to do with him. His 2026 Still The Problem Tour began in April and will end in August, but it has not been without incident. He flipped a piano during a show, which did not sit well with fans. They did not like his destructive nature or his lack of apology. Now, he is on the other side, and he is the one who has gotten hurt.
On Friday, July 24th, Morgan stopped in Ann Arbor, Michigan, for a show. He went to say hi to his fans, but then he ended up severely twisting his ankle. It was so bad that his ankle and foot were lying flat on their side. Morgan shared a horrific snap of the outcome, and it looked incredibly painful.
When he hit the stage on Saturday, July 25th, he tried to make a joke of his current state. Morgan Wallen teased about how he may not be walking properly:
Michigan, if I appear somewhat hobbled tonight, it’s cause I am.
However, that was not the only incident from that evening. A fan in the audience ended up throwing a cellphone at Morgan, which startled the performer. He was singing, which was captured by a concertgoer. Then, the phone was tossed and grazed his leg, immediately shocking Morgan Wallen.

No Empathy
Although Morgan Wallen’s ankle looked awful, many fans ultimately did not feel bad at all. It seems that he had canceled a Pittsburgh show in June due to bad weather. Moreover, he never rescheduled, and that left fans livid, so seeing what happened to him made them feel this was karma:

- Don’t feel bad for him at all. That’s payback for Pittsburgh
