Could Prosecutors Use Gene Deal To Build A Tupac Case Around Diddy?

Gene Deal says prosecutors want him to establish a relationship between Diddy and Keffe D.

Diddy may not be on trial for Tupac Shakur’s murder, but his name sure comes up a lot in the Keffe D case.

And I have a question.

Are prosecutors simply trying Duane “Keffe D” Davis, or are they quietly assembling pieces that could eventually point somewhere much bigger? This is not a new concept, but it is being asked more and more.

I am speculating here. Clearly, Sean “Diddy” Combs has not been charged in Tupac’s murder. Moreover, we cannot say that that – based on what’s happening now – that authorities are preparing charges against him. He has repeatedly denied any involvement in Pac’s death. But something feels askew…

Diddy’s former bodyguard says people connected to the case want him to testify. Deal recently explained what he believes they want from him.

“They want me to show that Keffe D and Diddy had a relationship,” Deal said. “They want me to establish what I know about Keffe D and Puff coercing with each other when they’re around each other. Gambling, laughing, drinking, popping bottles, the whole nine yards. That’s what they wanted me to do.”

Now why would establishing that relationship matter in this case? There’s a great answer.

Keffe D previously charged that Diddy offered $1 million to kill Tupac and Suge Knight. That allegation has resurfaced through evidence and testimony – in THIS CASE. They have not shown that a payment occurred.

Did these men actually know each other? Seems so. Were they around each other? Seems so. And then there are the difficult questions. Was there access? Was there opportunity? Can somebody independent of Keffe D establish the relationship? We do not know.

Gene Deal makes things extremely interesting.

Deal himself seems to understand. CNN’s Laura Coates told him, “They still want you,” after he questioned why his testimony was necessary. Deal responded that investigators already possess the information. He also suggested that sealed documents and federal investigators hold additional pieces of the story. I wonder what is in there.

Could this be a legal back door into getting Diddy while he is already incarcerated?

Maybe.

Prosecutors are trying to convict Keffe D and establishing the accuracy of his statements (books, podcasts and more) strengthens their case against him. His defense is literally arguing that Keffe D exaggerated and lied for attention and money. Corroborating his relationships could simply help prosecutors convince jurors that he was telling the truth about other things.

There may be a day when Diddy actually walks through the doors of the courtroom.

And if Gene Deal eventually takes the stand, its almost certain he will stick it to Diddy.
