Common Turns Childhood Park Into New Wine Brand

Common’s new Jefferey Park wine brand launches today with a 2024 Pinot Noir from Argentina, available on Gopuff for $19.99.
Common just bottled up the feeling of his South Side childhood and made it available to everyone.
Jefferey Park, his new wine brand developed with Argentine winemaker Karim Mussi and Gopuff, officially launched today with a 2024 Pinot Noir priced at $19.99.
The name comes from a neighborhood park three blocks from his childhood home in Chicago, formerly known as Stony Island Park, where he spent countless hours with friends and family.
The wine itself tells a story about accessibility and intention. Common worked directly with Mussi to dial in every detail, refusing to settle until the finish felt exactly right.

“With Jefferey Park, I wanted to capture that feeling of togetherness that’s behind so many of my favorite memories growing up,” Common said.
The partnership with Gopuff means the wine gets delivered in as fast as 15 minutes, keeping the experience both elegant and everyday.
This isn’t some celebrity cash grab where a name gets slapped on a bottle and forgotten. Common spent a decade waiting for the right moment and the right team before moving forward.
What makes this different is how intentional the whole process was. Common didn’t grow up in wine culture, but he grew into it through experiences and moments that mattered.
He remembers drinking wine at the White House during President Barack Obama’s administration and thinking about how the moment felt more important than the drink itself.
Common tested the wine with people he trusts, including athletes and actors, and the response was immediate.
At tastings, people kept asking when they could buy a bottle. At one gathering, the bottle was gone before anyone even realized it.
The wine comes from Mussi’s Altocedro estate vineyard in Argentina’s Valle de Uco, crafted from 27-year-old Pinot Noir vines planted in the Andes foothills.
“Working with Mussi was a big part of that. We connected over a shared appreciation for doing things with intention, using quality ingredients, and making something that feels special without trying too hard. We took our time getting this Pinot Noir just right, and I’m really proud of what we created together,” Common added.
The Jefferey Park Pinot Noir is available now on Gopuff and at BevMo! in select markets, with plans to expand.
